Tell us about your neighbourhood parks!
As part of the Ready, Set, Midtown study, the City is looking at parks in the Yonge–Eglinton area to identify opportunities for improvement. Improvements upgrade the function, condition, quality and amenity of parks to better meet the community’s recreation and social needs. These can include the addition or enhancement of amenities such as seating, lighting, pathways, playgrounds, recreation facilities and much more.
Parks, Forestry and Recreation is seeking public input to help identify opportunities and confirm priorities for park improvements. Add "pins" from the top of the screen to tell us What You Like about existing Midtown parks, your Areas of Concern, and Opportunities & Suggestions for making the parks more enjoyable and welcoming.
We have also included Information Markers in blue to provide background on recent and ongoing park development, improvement, and recreation facility projects.
If you have any questions about the Interactive Mapping Exercise, please contact Teresa Liu at Teresa.Liu@toronto.ca. You can also reach out about other questions or comments related to Midtown parks, such as opportunities for parkland acquisition.
The consultation is open from August 4, 2021 to September 14, 2021.
Thank you for your input!
